FCG’s Ron Oberbillig Will Present Workshop at the Performance Measurement for e-Government Conference, Jan. 24-26, 2006
Ron Oberbillig, FCG COO, and Michael Moore, Chief, Communications Division, U.S. Department of Commerce, will team up to present a workshop on the first day of the Performance Measurement for e-Government Conference sponsored by the Advanced Learning Institute at the Hilton Arlington in Arlington, VA, Jan. 24-26.
The workshop, How to Measure and Fine Tune Your Website Performance, will provide critical information on how a government agency can improve website performance based on measuring customer satisfaction. Oberbillig will provide the components of a successful website survey, including an expedited approval of the Office of Management and Budget. “Performance measurement tools based on proven, scientific principles have become the foundation for deciding on and maximizing website improvements within an agency’s limited resources,” he said.
Michael Moore will present a case study featuring the steps taken by the Bureau of Economic Analysis to identify and implement sophisticated tools for surveying customers and measuring their level satisfaction with its website, which exists primarily to disseminate statistical information. When BEA analyzed the resulting data to assess the site’s strengths and weaknesses, they uncovered surprising results.
The joint presentation is scheduled for 10:35 a.m. on Jan. 24.
