RICHARD A. TATE, Ph.D
As an Executive Consultant in the Federal Consulting Group, Rick works with Senior Managers in the federal government to develop and deploy satisfaction measures and best practices for employees, citizens and other constituents. He also facilitates communities of practice to promote better government performance through satisfaction measurement. Rick is an accomplished Research Executive and Management Consultant with extensive experience, including more than 10 years managing research staff. Rick’s expertise is focused on helping organizations be more successful through effectively managing their relationships with employees and customers. He has a deep understanding of research methods and processes, employee and customer satisfaction, loyalty, best practices, and performance measurement. He has directed numerous studies across a broad mix of public and privately-held organizations, including major federal government agencies, Fortune 500 as well as small and mid-sized companies, non-profits, and investor-owned utilities. In addition to running his own research consultancy, he managed an applied research group at the Georgia Institute of Technology and has been affiliated with leading national research and consulting firms.
Rick has academic training in behavioral sciences, mathematics and education and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. He is a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences and author of numerous papers, articles and research reports.
